DNA Visual Business Solutions Develops Interactive Brand Management Resource for Tricon Global Restaurants Inc.

New Media Technologies Help Maintain Brand Consistency at KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell Franchises Worldwide

CHICAGO, October 6, 1997 -- DNA Visual Business Solutions, Inc. has been tapped by TRICON Global Restaurants Inc. to develop and maintain an interactive product that allows the company's global marketing staff and restaurant franchisees to easily access essential marketing and branding information. The world's largest restaurant system will utilize the "Brand Toolkit" system for its KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell restaurants worldwide.

The multimedia CD-ROM-based Brand Toolkits are an interactive replacement to traditional field marketing resource binders. Separate versions of this comprehensive resource for each of the three restaurant chains bring together everything a franchisee or regional marketing manager needs to plan, manage and execute the KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell brands.

Through the delivery of marketing strategies, tactics and research, the Brand Toolkits enable TRICON to establish and maintain global brand identity in several key areas, including: brand essence, advertising, promotions, market research, menu management, facilities, kids' marketing, operational marketing, policies and guidelines, new product development and pricing.
