DNA, Intel To Jointly Develop e-Business Solutions
DNA is sole Chicago-based company to participate in both Intel programs
CHICAGO — DNA today announced a business alliance with Intel in which the two companies will work together for a series of e-business and Web-based initiatives. As part of the agreement:
| | DNA will join Intel's e-Business Solution Provider (eBSP) program and collaborate to develop and deploy e-business solutions that use Intel's architecture. |
| | Intel selected DNA as an Intel Premier Provider. This distinction is reserved for Web integrators that deliver a level of expertise and a range of networking and Intel processor-based solutions that are among the best in the industry. |
| | The two companies will explore additional business development opportunities in the areas of usability research, marketing and e-business initiatives. |
"Intel is a company known and trusted by our customers," said Dave Wallinga, president of DNA, the only Chicago-based company to participate in both Intel programs. "This relationship furthers our goal of delivering world-class digital marketing solutions for organizations that want to successfully use the Web as a strategic asset."
Intel launched the eBSP program last year to develop a best of breed e-commerce integration framework for companies setting up businesses on the Internet. As part of the program, Intel is providing DNA and 40 other companies nationally with training, business development and co-marketing opportunities. DNA also will act as a re-seller for Intel's solution services.
"Intel's eBSP program will provide Web integration experts like DNA with additional tools and technical information they need to offer the best e-business solutions to their customers," said Deborah Conrad, vice president of Intel's Business and Marketing Alliances Group. "We are excited to work with DNA to make Intel architecture the platform of choice and an Internet infrastructure standard."
In being selected by Intel as one of its premier providers, DNA can take advantage of special marketing programs, financial incentives and benefits, networking forums, and priority technical support and tools. The association also is expected to lead to mutually beneficial business development opportunities for both companies.
"We've made it a priority to partner with consulting and integration companies like DNA that consistently demonstrate a commitment to innovation, strategic thinking and solutions that address industry challenges," said Brent Jenson, director of Intel's Premier Provider program.
